Offensive operations · Tool development
Stop testing tools on the box you're deploying from.
Operators ship complex software into environments they can't always control. The right test setup is on-prem, behind a firewall, and protects the equities you can't afford to leak. The wrong test setup is a tool detonating blindly because lab plumbing took longer than building the tool itself.
Person-hours that should be solving the stakeholder's problem get burned on configuration. So tools ship with thinner testing — and operational risk goes up.
With Ludus, every tool can ship with a range config attached. Operators spin up the test environment with two commands, on-prem by default, with reproducible state. The lab that used to be a side project is now part of the tool.

Another quarterly appreciation post for @badsectorlabs Ludus. This time, I'll point out how dynamic it is. If you need tons of really weird one-off configurations, it's super good at handling that and keeping track of state for you https://ludus.cloud
